Welcome to the First-Ever EcoSport
Make your "first-ever" happen.
We're so happy to finally have the EcoSport, the first subcompact SUV in the Ford lineup. It's a wonderful addition for our brand and we know customers are going to love it!
Think of the EcoSport as a cross between a high-end car and an SUV. It's higher up than a car, but nimbler than an SUV, and sports a ton of great features.

5 Ways the EcoSport is different
1. Height.
If you're a car driver, you probably get frustrated sometimes with visibility over all the SUVs on the road. The 2018 EcoSport helps alleviate that problem.
However, the step-up is not too high - about 15 inches, which is higher than your typical sedan but lower than SUVs such as the Escape, Edge, and Explorer.
2. Tech features.
The EcoSport includes SYNC connectivity, with optional SYNC 3. SYNC 3 (standard on SE, SES, and Titanium) includes much more than your average Bluetooth - in addition to hands-free phone calls, this connectivity allows you to connect up to 10 devices to Wi-Fi! It includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Plus, it includes AppLink with voice commands and steering wheel buttons to control compatible apps on a connected smartphone. You'll also get SYNC Connect, which allows owners to use the FordPass app to stay connected with their EcoSport remotely from anywhere at any time.
And have we mentioned the touchscreen? A 6.5 inch LCD touchscreen is standard on the SE, with an 8-inch floating LCD touchscreen standard on the SES and Titanium models.
All models come with a 12-volt power outlet, and SYNC 3-equipped models feature two smart-charging USB ports.
3. The back hatch.
I know what you're thinking: this is totally different! The swing gate rear door provides easy access to the rear cargo area without reaching over your head. It swings open toward the driver's side, meaning that if you're loading something from the curb, you're protected from traffic.
You'll also notice that the rear door is heavy! This means it won't accidentally blow closed while you're loading groceries. Plus it adds another element of safety for you.
4. Space.
You know the phrase, "It's bigger on the inside?" You'd swear that was the case for the EcoSport. It may look like a small SUV but it's got more than 91 cubic feet of passenger volume!
If you need even more room, the back seat folds down completely flat, perfect for times when you need to move furniture or if you want to curl up for a nap in the back.
5. Affordability
Some people think they can't afford an SUV, but the EcoSport is here to prove them wrong. Starting at $19,995 MSRP, the Ford EcoSport is within many people's vehicle budgets.
And although it's affordable, it still comes with some powerful features. The SE model (which is the middle of the line, in terms of trim lines), comes with some high-end features such as a power moonroof, 6-way power driver seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel, gear shift knob, and hand brake.
